Location: 19 Randwick Avenue, Oakland, CA 94611 Show up 10 minutes early to find free on street parking. Please be respectful of our neighbors, do not block driveways.
What to bring: water, workout clothing, t-shirts and pants that go below the knees, as we do a fair amount of ground work. No shorts, high heels, or tank tops.
These are physically distanced workouts, small groups up to 6 people at a time (some people just attend by zoom). Pre register with Peter via phone the morning of. Peter requires that you bring a face mask with you.
10 minute slow joint warm up, then running, then either animal movements, kettle bell weight training or safe and fun martial games. The tempo of each class depends on who shows up and their energy that day. Each class introduces new workout exercises, be prepared to have fun with new moves! Focus is on technical body alignment principles and flow and conditioning. Peter scales the level of challenge differently for everybody, so you go at your own pace as to not injure yourself in these fun workouts with tasty beats. Footwear should be easy to slide in if possible, stay away from grippy footwear, sometimes we work out in socks or bare feet. Finish each session with seated breath work challenges.
